Ornamental Allium Head

An ornamental allium head sits near the top-right of the frame against a bright backlight. The purple star-like florets and thin stems are sharply defined at the crown while the lower area falls into a soft purple blur against a warm, high-key background. One floret on the rim tilts slightly, interrupting the otherwise regular radial pattern.
