Puffball Fungus with Droplets

Puffball fungus with droplets sits on the forest floor among short green blades and rotting wood. The rounded tan-gray caps show translucent amber, honey-like droplets; the image is a low-angle, tight view with foreground and background softly out of focus. Several caps show pitted surfaces and the droplets collect in shallow pools that reflect nearby vegetation.
