Orange Fly on Grass Blade

An orange fly sits on the tip of a grass blade near ground level. The insect's amber body and large compound eyes are lit softly against a dark, out-of-focus field of green blades; the fly is framed toward the lower right. Its long, spindly legs and the fine ridged texture of the grass are clearly visible where it grips the blade.
