Black Ant on Plant Edge

A black ant clings to the tip of a green plant leaf at the lower right of the frame. The ant's glossy black body and extended antennae contrast with a soft, out-of-focus field of greens and grays under even daylight. Tiny water droplets and the fine serrated margin of the leaf are visible where the ant's feet touch the surface.
