Wasp Nest Cell Close-up

Wasp nest cells fill the frame, showing several open papery chambers from a very close viewpoint. The image records grey and beige tones with shallow focus and a soft, even tonality; the central cell rim is the sharpest area. Fine fibrous strands cling to the edge of the nearest cell and small tears mark the papery surface.
