Black-eyed Susan Flower Heads

A black-eyed Susan flower head tilts downward near the lower right of the frame. The yellow petals catch warm highlights against a cool blue-gray, out-of-focus background and the photograph uses a very shallow depth of field. The central disk reads dark and textured and several petals show small spots and frayed edges.
