Echinacea purpurea Purple Coneflower

Echinacea purpurea, the purple coneflower, sits in a meadow with one blossom in sharp focus and others fading into the background. The petals are pink and the central cones are orange-brown, photographed in soft daylight with a shallow depth of field. A few petals show small notches and the cone's spiky texture is clearly visible in the foreground.
