Tiered River Waterfall

The tiered river waterfall pours over dark bedrock at the edge of a mixed evergreen and deciduous forest. The frame shows foaming white water against black rock, orange-brown autumn foliage and a wide gray sky, photographed from downstream to include the pool in the foreground. A ragged horizontal rock ledge divides the flow into multiple stepped curtains.
