Cicada on Weathered Fencepost

A cicada rests on the top edge of a weathered wooden fencepost. The insect's translucent wings and mottled green-gray body are lit against a pale, out-of-focus sky while the rough grey wood fills the lower portion of the frame. The fine wing venation and the post's deep vertical grain are clearly visible.
