Puffball Fungus Caps with Dew

Puffball fungus caps sit low among damp grass, their rounded surfaces dotted with water droplets. The nearest caps are pale beige and gray under soft, diffuse light, photographed with a very shallow depth of field so only the front surface is sharp. One teardrop bead on the right edge magnifies the cap's texture while a thin grass blade lies across the group.
