Physalis alkekengi Husk

Physalis alkekengi husk sits filling the frame with its papery surface covered in water droplets. The husk reads in pale cream and gray tones with translucent veins; soft, even light picks out the round beads against a dark, blurred background. A neat row of tiny droplets tracks the upper rib like a line of glass beads.
