Fungal Caps on Wood Chips

Fungal caps sit clustered on wood chips at ground level. The caps range from tan to deep umber, their ribbed, translucent edges lit from the side and framed tightly so the background dissolves into soft blur. A fine dusting of reflective particles clings to the tallest cap's ridges, catching highlights across its surface.
