Termite Mud Tubes on Wood

Termite mud tubes are attached to a green painted wooden surface near the center-right of the frame. The photograph shows rust-brown soil tubes against textured green paint, shot with a very shallow depth of field so the tubes in front are sharp and the background is blurred. The tube ends appear frayed and granular, giving them a bristled texture in close view.
