Narrow Courtyard Lightwell

The narrow courtyard lightwell sits between tall masonry buildings and opens to the sky above. Warm ochre plaster and weathered gray stone rise on either side, with a sunlit opening at the top and deep cool tones lower in the frame; the view is tightly compressed and vertical. A black metal cable tray crosses the upper frame and several bundled conduits run down the walls.
