Green Caterpillar Hanging Down

A green caterpillar hangs from the edge of a pale-veined leaf. Its translucent yellow-green body and tiny hairs are lit by soft, diffused daylight while a very shallow depth of field blurs the surrounding foliage into smooth green-gray tones. The small dark brown prolegs are sharply in focus as they grip the leaf.
