Metallic Wasp on Grass Blade

A metallic wasp rests on a curved grass blade near the right side of the frame. The insect shows a bright green thorax, a blue-black abdomen with pale yellow bands, and sunlight highlights its iridescent surface against a soft out-of-focus background. Tiny pale specks and the wasp's sharp shadow are visible on the grass blade in this close-up view.
