Metallic Green Beetle on Wood

A metallic green beetle crawls across a rough piece of tree wood near the lower edge of the frame. Its iridescent green and bronze shell shows a soft sheen while the background falls into a deep blur, isolating the insect in a narrow plane. The antennae and mandibles are sharply focused against the textured surface.
