Metallic Green Long-legged Fly

A metallic green long-legged fly rests on the surface of a large green leaf near a main vein. A diagonal band of sunlight reveals deep and lighter greens and tiny reflective granules on the leaf; the fly's iridescent body and yellow eyes catch the light toward the lower right. The fly's translucent wings and a crisp shadow are clearly visible against the leaf surface.
