White Water Lily Bloom

A white water lily blooms above the pond surface in the photograph's foreground. The white petals catch soft, cool light against a dark, out-of-focus background while lily pads and other blurred blossoms occupy the midground. A pale green pair of sepals and the flower's stalk are visible beneath the petals.
