Dandelion Seed Head with Ant

A dandelion seed head sits atop a single vertical stem with a small ant crawling on its pitted top. The pale beige receptacle and dried olive bracts are set against a deep gray background, and the stalk runs straight through the center of the frame. The ant's rust color makes a sharp point of contrast on the textured surface.
