Astilbe plumed flower stalks

Astilbe plumed flower stalks rise from a garden bed in front of fern foliage. The plants show dense lilac florets on pale tan stems, lit by soft daylight and framed in a vertical crop with the ferns blurred behind. One slightly taller stalk stands forward of the group and you can see many tiny individual flowers at the tips.
