Dried Seed Pod with Fibers

A dried seed pod sits centered in the frame with its outer skin puckered and white fibrous floss pulling away from the edges. The image is black-and-white with deep midtones, soft directional light, and a very shallow depth of field that renders the lower area out of focus. Thin, hair-like filaments hang and form ragged, waterfall-like strands beneath the rim.
