Small Songbird on Leafless Branch

A small songbird sits on a leafless branch near the top of a bare deciduous tree. The image is rendered in high-contrast black-and-white with bright highlights on the bark and a deep gray sky filling much of the frame. A second small bird is visible in flight near the lower right edge of the picture.
