White Fungal Gills with Droplets

White fungal gills run diagonally across the frame, shown edge-on as layered, rippled ridges. They are pale off-white against a warm brown background, lit softly so the nearest ridges catch highlights while the rest falls out of focus. Several clear water droplets cling to the gill edges, one near the lower right forming a bright highlight.
