Hoverfly on Tiny Flower Bud

A hoverfly perches on a tiny flower bud at the tip of a hairy green stem. The insect's large reddish eyes and golden thorax are sharply focused against a soft, dark-green blurred background with a very shallow depth of field. Fine hairs on the stem and buds catch the light and are visible at this scale.
