Robber Fly Face Close-Up

A robber fly's face fills the frame in a tight frontal close-up. Silvery hairs catch bright highlights against a matte black exoskeleton, with olive-tinted compound eyes at the sides and a soft dark background. The three small ocelli and a dense moustache of bristly hairs around the mouthparts are clearly visible.
