Tagetes erecta Marigold Flower

A Tagetes erecta marigold flower sits near the lower center of the frame. The flower's bright orange ruffled petals stand out against desaturated green foliage and soft out-of-focus highlights, with a shallow depth of field isolating the blossom. The outer petals show small tears and the central disk is densely packed with tiny florets.
