Bolete Cap Pore Surface

A bolete mushroom's pore surface fills the frame, photographed from directly beneath the cap. Yellow pores form a dense honeycomb texture with a thin reddish band along the cap edge set against a deep teal background; even illumination emphasizes the tiny ridges. The pore openings vary in size and shape, and a few small reflective spots appear near the lower edge.
