Canola (rapeseed) flower

A canola (rapeseed) flower sits at the lower center of the frame with its four petals and central stamens facing the camera. Pale yellow petals are evenly lit against a soft green-gray out-of-focus background, and most of the plant falls outside the narrow focus plane. One petal edge shows a small crease and the stamens carry tiny pollen grains.
