Tiny Brown Mushrooms on Tree Trunk

Tiny brown gilled mushrooms sit clustered on a damp tree trunk. The caps are pale tan and the scene is lit by soft side light against dark, wet wood speckled with pale lichen; the vertical, close-up framing follows the mushrooms down the right edge. A few tiny water droplets cling to the upper cap edges and the gills are sharply in focus while the surrounding lichen is blurred.
