Dew-covered Hairy Caterpillar

A hairy caterpillar rests along the edge of a green leaf, its body running horizontally across the frame. The caterpillar shows a glossy black band with thin blue and orange stripes and a fringe of long brown and white hairs; tiny water droplets cling to the hairs and catch bright highlights against a soft dark-green background. Several droplets sit as near-perfect spheres that magnify the stripe pattern beneath them.
