Curled Red-Brown Fall Foliage on Rock

A curled red-brown piece of fall foliage rests on a rough rock close to the camera. The surface shows mottled reds, oranges and black speckles, lit by soft side light with a very shallow depth of field that leaves the background blurred. The edge is torn and pitted, with small holes and dark decay visible along the rim.
