Common Lilac Panicles

Common lilac panicles sit on a garden shrub and fill the frame with their small tubular flowers. The petals are pale purple with white tips, set against deep green leaves in soft, diffuse light and a shallow depth of field. A few buds remain darker purple at the center where the four-pointed corollas are just opening.
