Gibbous Moon in Lower Right

The gibbous Moon sits in the lower-right corner of the frame. It appears pale gray and white with a cratered surface set against a deep black sky, and the moon takes up only a small portion of the image. A bright rim along the sunlit edge and the terminator line bring the crater detail into sharp relief.
