Skeletonized Foliage on Moss

A skeletonized leaf sits curled on damp moss and dark soil near the bottom of the frame. The tan lacework of the decomposed leaf contrasts with deep green moss and a low, soft directional light; the photograph is a vertical close-up with shallow focus. A small grey mushroom cap peeks from the moss above the leaf.
