Orb-weaver Spider on Web

An orb-weaver spider sits at the center of its web, clinging to the hub. The photograph is black-and-white with a strong blurred bright circle behind the web and thin radial threads crossing the frame. The spider and the immediate silk are sharply focused while much of the web and background fall softly out of focus.
