Male Baltimore Oriole on Twig

A male Baltimore oriole perches on a thin bare twig near the lower right of the portrait frame. Its bright orange underparts and black head stand out against a soft, gray-green out-of-focus background under even, overcast light. The bird's white wing bars and the fine profile of its pale bill are sharply in focus against the blurred trees.
