Pale Mushrooms on Log

Two pale mushrooms are growing from a crack in a decaying fallen log near the lower right of the frame. Soft side light picks out their cream caps and thin stems against textured brown wood and patches of green moss while the background melts into large circular bokeh. One cap shows a slightly scalloped edge and a small cluster of shelf fungi is visible lower left.
