Yellow Daylily Close-Up

A yellow daylily (Hemerocallis) occupies the lower-right of the frame with its open bloom facing the camera. The petals are bright yellow and the anthers are dark brown, lit by soft diffused daylight against a blurred band of vertical green foliage. Small water droplets mark the ruffled petal edges and the shallow focus isolates the flower from the background.
