Pier Piling with Rusted Chains

A wooden pier piling sits in seawater with rusted iron chains looped and draped around it. The wood is bleached and streaked with green algae at the waterline, the chains are oxidized red-brown, and the frame is a tight vertical crop focusing on three adjacent pilings. A vertical rusted metal strap with two bolt holes runs up the central piling and barnacles cling to the base.
