Motorboats and Gondolas on Grand Canal

The Grand Canal in Venice carries motorboats and gondolas between long rows of palazzo facades. A low yellow-orange sunset rests near the horizon under heavy gray clouds, while terracotta roofs and pale stone walls fill the wide horizontal frame. Wooden mooring posts and a cluster of red market awnings appear in the right foreground.
