Allium giganteum bloom

An Allium giganteum bloom sits at the top of a straight green stalk in the image's foreground. The spherical head is lavender with tightly packed star-shaped florets, lit by soft daylight and framed against a blurred green background. One single floret rises above the dome, making a sharp point against the out-of-focus foliage.
