Pleated Fungus Cap

Pleated fungus cap photographed from above, showing its radiating gill-like ridges. The pale grey and tan surface is lit in soft, diffuse daylight and fills the foreground against a blurred green-grey background. A small torn hole near the center exposes darker, fibrous tissue and fine powder on the ridges.
