Yellow Cockscomb Inflorescence

A yellow cockscomb inflorescence (Celosia cristata) fills the center of the frame and faces the camera. The tightly ruffled folds appear yellow to olive-green under soft, even light with a dark green blurred background. Small water droplets sit in the creases and the outer edges show fine fuzzy hairs on the bracts.
