Mosaic of a Carmelite Nun

A mosaic of a Carmelite nun sits in a narrow arched niche set into a red brick wall. Blue tiles form the background, a gold-tiled halo rings the head, and a white stone arch and shelf frame the figure under diffuse daylight. Several edge tiles are chipped and the nun's eyes are depicted looking slightly downward, visible in the close crop.
