Bumblebee in Foliage Pocket

A bumblebee (Bombus sp.) is tucked into a pocket of green foliage, facing the camera. Its black, textured head and pale yellow thoracic hairs are lit by low directional light, with deep green leaves forming the backdrop. The punctate surface on the bee's face and the short hairs on the plant stalk beneath it are clearly visible.
