Red Squirrel on Tree Trunk

A red squirrel is peeking from behind a tree trunk, its head and shoulder visible at the right edge of the frame. The orange-brown fur stands out against the dark, lichen-speckled bark on the left and a soft, out-of-focus gray-black background. A bright catchlight appears in the squirrel's eye and faint streaks suggest light rain in the blurred background.
