Great Cormorant on Metal Globe

A great cormorant perches on top of a weathered metal globe mounted on a pole above an Italian sign. The bird's dark, slightly iridescent feathers contrast with a clear blue sky while the globe and sign show flaking white paint and rust. The cormorant's white throat patch and the partially legible Italian text are clearly visible in the frame.
