Periwinkle Flower Bud

A periwinkle flower bud sits upright on its stem among glossy leaves. The closed bud is deep purple-blue against a soft pale-blue and beige background, photographed tightly with a strong foreground blur. Fine silvery speckling and a faint central seam are visible on the petal surface.
