Yellow Potentilla Cinquefoil Flower

A yellow potentilla (cinquefoil) flower sits near the lower center of the frame facing the camera. Pale yellow petals surround a small central disk of bright yellow stamens; the blossom is lit softly and isolated by a dark, heavily blurred background of cool greens and brown. Fine hairs on the nearby bud and a small notch on one petal are visible at this scale.
